Who am I?

My name is Todd Fenn. I grew up in Houston and I have had a passion for cars and motorcycles since I was a little kid. I learned to love working on cars while holding the flashlight for my dad. My first car was a ‘98 Ford Explorer I bought with 255k miles for $500. After I saved up some money from working at Taco Bell I bought a manual BMW 330Ci and still own it today. My first motorcycle was a Yamaha MT-03 and I rode 12,000 miles in one year before upgrading to my current Triumph Street Triple 675R.

What is this?

Founded in San Marcos, Texas in 2024, The Phaeton (fay-uh-tn) is an online automotive publication for cars, motorcycles, automotive design, history, and culture. It revolves around a deep love for all things automotive, and wanting to share that passion with you. In addition to news and rotating weekly articles I cover races, motorsport events, and car meets in central Texas.
